Strong Verbs: Class 1

In German, the "strong verbs" are the ones who have irregular forms when using them in the past tense. I guess they could be considered strong-willed.
It can be very strenuous to learn them. Can you help me out somehow?
Oh, I will!
Since German loves order, even the irregular verbs have some regularity. They sometimes follow certain patterns, so we put them in classes.
I will show you which groups there are in something like a six chapter novel.
Sounds like a fascinating read...
As I was saying... Once you have learned and practiced the first class, we will move on to the next one.
