Strong Verbs: Class 6

This is a follow up of "Strong Verbs: Class 5", where we said:
Since German loves order, even the irregular verbs have some regularity. They sometimes follow certain patterns, so we classify them in classes. (dah!)

Class 1: ei → ie (bleiben → geblieben) Class 2: ie → o (fliegen → geflogen) Class 3: i → u (finden → gefunden) Class 4: e-e → e-e (essen → gegessen) Class 5: e → o (helfen → geholfen)

This is the most extensive group. Just remember, verbs with "a" in their stem prefer the ending -en.
