Max talks about his on-air accident: How to tell a story about something that happened in the past in English.

I was doing a stream in this very studio.

It was one of my first streams in the studio, and it was going quite well.

not: It went quite well.

I finished the content of my stream and started doing my closing line: "thanks so much for watching, I look forward to seeing you on the next stream... goodbye!"

At this time, when we said goodbye, we would then go off-camera.

I was on my way to get off-camera, and I noticed a cushion on the floor. It was a sound proof cushion.

I knew I had to keep going!

I decided to try and hop over the cushion!

I jumped over the cushion, and when I landed I felt my foot slip on the floor. I started to fall.

As I was falling, my foot knocked over a painting... the painting smashed.

The picture frame fell onto a nearby lamp.

At this point, I was already lying on the floor, everything was moving in slow motion for me... and I saw the lamp slowly fall to the ground.

It tipped over, hit the floor, and smashed to 1000 pieces.

My first week in the studio, and I managed to trash the whole thing!
