You can now find climbing gyms in almost any major city. In Europe, France, Austria and Germany have a great climbing tradition. The US are also a popular destination for climbers, especially those looking to climb up some of the routes at Yosemite (often referred to as the home of rock climbing) and the Boulder Canyon in Colorado.

it’s very easy to make friends at the climbing gym. Also, it’s very common for people to cheer you up while you’re on the wall and give you tips on how to climb, even if they’re total strangers

it might feel frustrating at first to learn the basic climbing techniques (but once you get them it’s really easy to advance)

✅ Full-body workout

you’ll probably feel exhausted at the end of a climbing session, but it will be worth it
