Why are antonyms important?
They help improve our writing! Making comparisons, describing something or someone and by using antithesis.
Different types of antonyms. 1.) Relational antonyms.
Firstly, relational antonyms. These types of antonyms are found in different mutual relationships. For example Doctor and Patient. One can't exist without the other.
2.) Gradable antonyms.
These are antonyms used to describe opposite amounts of the same quality.
3.) Complementary antonyms.
This is where the positive use of one of the words has a negative use of the other word.

Examples, dis, (dishonest, honest). Mis, (mislead lead). Un, (unimportant, important).
