In English we use the word "do" a lot. So when and why do we use it? Max explains all the situations in which we use "do".

DO AS AN AUXILIARY VERB

Do is one of three auxiliary verbs in English: be, do, have. We use do to make negatives (do + not), to make question forms, and to make the verb stronger

DON'T to make verbs NEGATIVE

I don't like bananas.

We don't say: "I like not bananas."
